Born in Dublin and studied at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin, under artists Sean Keating, Maurice MacGonigal and John F. Kelly. He studied collage with Paul Polaro at The New School for Social Research, N.Y., and landscape painting with Grenville Cottingham (Kerry School of Landscape Painting) and Henry Healy, RHA.
He has worked as an Art Director in the advertising industry in Dublin and New York. He is a past president of The Water Colour Society of Ireland, a member of The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club, The Dublin Art Society and The Ulster Watercolour Society. His work is to be found in collections in Ireland, England and The United States. His work is included in the permanent national collection of the Water Colour Society of Ireland in The University of Limerick. Vincent teaches groups including The Burren School of Landscape Painting and gives demonstrations and workshops. He paints in watercolours and oils favouring a free broad style and his subjects are landscapes, animals, the nude figure, portraits and still life. Vincent has had three solo exhibitions, along with: a joint Exhibition in New York and The Bective Gallery in Dublin. Several group exhibitions including; Kilakee Art Centre Summer Show; RHA Summer Exhibitions; Tattan Gallery; Independent Artists Exhibition; An tOreachtas Summer Exhibition, and a regular exhibitor with The Water Colour Society of Ireland, The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club, The Dublin Art Society, and The Ulster Watercolour Society. Winner of : The Desmond O'Kane Animals and Wildlife Award, (UWS 2018). The President’s Award, WCSI 2014. The William Haughton Trophy for Best overall picture (UWS 2013). The Milliken Bros. Portrait Award UWS 2013.
